Fully Mineralized Food
“Let food be thy medicine and let thy medicine be thy food”
Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine (460-377 B.C.)
Fully Mineralized Food is the term that we give to plants that have been nourished with a full spectrum of mineral elements, such that the plant has the right (DNA potential or genetic permission), to choose whatever it needs in order to maximize its life force potential, and decline the mineral elements it doesn’t need or want.
We could call meat products fully mineralized, if the animals have been fed with their natural diet whereby the original feed was itself “Fully Mineralized”. Ocean based creatures could be considered fully mineralized by virtue of their habitat, but regardless, care should be taken because captive bred species are always at risk of being fed with a food that man ‘thinks is affordable’ or ‘thinks it’s what they should be eating‘
Obviously, caution should be exercised with anything one consumes. We all should know that there are many substances which when absorbed, can have rapid and/or long term influence on our state of being, with quantity absorbed and rate of absorbtion being something else to consider.
If you believe as we do, that the cells that make up the myriad functions of our physical existence require a full complement of organic minerals to function at their best, then it would be wise to learn something about how most crops are grown nowadays – because, unfortunately, for the most part, modern agriculture is not feeding the plants we eat with all of the minerals that plant DNA is capable of picking up.
This means that produce may look ok, but may not contain a full measure of expected nutrients when we consume it. There is not an easy answer for us eaters of plants and animals to get a full supply of raw materials (minerals) needed under the current circumstances. Our optimal DNA development, and therefore, ultimately, our health, well-being and longevity is at risk, as is the intelligence, disease resistance and ultimate well-being of our offspring.
As everyone knows, the same species of plants are capable of a wide variety of expression. Most everyone has seen an example of a perfect specimen as compared to a stunted specimen. If the seed is the same, and similar conditions exist, then the difference is a function of the nutrients provided through the course of the plants growth cycle.
If a seeds DNA is slightly damaged, it would appear to be possible for the DNA to repair itself through successive generations under a long term high quality feed program.
Incredibly – our cells are actually constantly rebuilding themselves.
Until fairly recently, farmers growing plants in soil or using hydroponic growing methods, typically used fertilizers and nutrient solutions based on only three major elements: nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium (NPK). Due to problems with disease, yields and quality, the agricultural and scientific community has gradually begun to recognize the importance of a broader range of micro nutrients (minerals), and now, advanced growers are utilizing many more elements in their plant nutrient applications. However, even so, most of the plant nutrient mixes today still fall far short of delivering even close to all of the minerals that a plant’s DNA is capable of picking up.
Even many organic growers, while following the doctrine of not using chemicals and dangerous pesticides, do not yet understand and fully embrace the concept of re-mineralizing the soil for their produce’s health and for the health of those that consume their produce.
From assumptions in the early part of the 20th century that only a few elements were needed to promote plant growth, to a stage in the early 21st century, whereby every few years or so, we discover and recognize the role that a “new” mineral element has to play in some aspect of plant, animal or human health. If we extrapolate the past into the future, it seems only logical that eventually, we will discover that all or most of the elements have some role to play. It is also plain to see that current agricultural practices will not lead to our food having the highest mineral content possible, and in fact are having the opposite effect.
While this theory has yet to be “scientifically proven” there are many people who already know this to be true, and have conducted preliminary experiments which leave no doubt to an open mind. We contend that over time, most if not all of the elements will be found to have some value for the best expression of our DNA potential over time.
One of the pioneers in this field of study who is only now being recognized for his enormous contribution is a man by the name of Dr. Maynard Murray.
In 1936, the brilliant young doctor wondered why plants and animals living in the sea were so much healthier than their land based counterparts. Why do land-based animals suffered from so many forms of chronic disease while sea animals generally enjoy vigorous health?
He began his life long research into what he later termed “Sea Energy Agriculture” – which is: “how to get the perfect chemistry (consistency, balance and proportion) of the elemental minerals back into depleted soils.” He felt that re-mineralizing the soils was the key to proper nutrition, a stronger immune system and a longer, healthier life. Over the course of the next four and a half decades, Dr. Maynard Murray undertook a variety of experiments to prove that ocean water (in the right amount) is in fact natures perfect plant nutrient.
The ocean is the only source where most of the known elements are in a perfectly balanced solution.
His experiments proved to be a fantastic success, with much stronger, more productive and more disease resistant produce being the result. Furthermore, additional experiments concluded that animals who ate the highly mineralized produce were themselves much stronger, more productive and more disease resistant. This discovery although profoundly significant, fell on mostly deaf ears – because, as is the case with so many of natures “free gifts”, it is not patentable. Commercial interests were not excited by a product whereby they had no exclusivity. Unfortunately, it is for the same reason, that many herbs and plants widely known to be beneficial in alternative medicine are simply ignored or even maligned by the powers that be.
“Sea Energy Agriculture”, the science that Dr. Murray uncovered has lain largely dormant during the last 20 years, but a dedicated effort was underway all the while, to rescue this essential knowledge from oblivion, largely by the prestigious “Acres Magazine” and the “Ocean Grown Company” which took over from Dr. Maynard Murray after his passing. A small group of other dedicated converts has also managed to keep Dr. Maynard Murrays brilliant achievement alive. We salute them all.
